18 month check-up

I took Will this afternoon to the doctor for his 18 month check-up.  Everything is perfect and he checked out just great!  He weighs 24.2 lbs and is 33 inches tall.  He got two shots today, one immunization and the flu shot.  The doctor said he has already seen many cases of the flu so it was a good time for Will to get his shot.  When he got his shots, he only cried for a minute.  The nurse gave him a sticker and it made everything all better!

Weddings & A Bit of Christmas

Yesterday, Bryan and I attended two weddings.

The first one was outdoors and very beautiful.  The couple, Ryan & Jessica, are such a sweet couple.   Our family and Ryan's family have been friends forever.  We all grew up together and it was such a sweet ceremony.

The second wedding was for Chad & Heidi who we have also known for years.  They were married at her church and the reception was at the country club.  Heidi used all Christmas music during the ceremony and I loved it!  I love a holiday wedding.  The bridesmaid dresses were red and the decorations were winter & Christmas themed.  It was beautiful!  Heidi & Chad have been dating forever, I think like 12 or more years so it was about time they tied the knot!!

Some great friends!

Finally, a little bit of Christmas around the house.

This is on my dining room table and whenever we get a Christmas card in the mail, I am going to hang it from the limbs.  I saw it on Pinterest!

Thanksgiving Day

We had a big lunch with our family at my mom and dads house.  Will liked the turkey, stuffing, and deviled eggs.  His favorite dessert was a pumpkin roll.  Will is the youngest now and is definitely the center of attention from everyone!

After lunch, we headed up the mountain to cut down our Christmas tree.  This was Will's first time because he was so small last year.  We found the perfect one, pics are coming soon!

Thanksgiving Eve

Will and I had a big day today.  We started this morning by running some errands around town.  We came home, ate lunch, and then Will took a two hour nap.  While he was asleep, I got out all of our Christmas decorations.  I got most of the house decorated except for the tree (we are going to cut one down tomorrow).  When Will woke up, we decorated his tree in his room.  All of the decorations are soft so he can play with them if he wants.  We also made cookies this afternoon, pumpkin spice.  He really liked them and kept asking for bites.  We had a fun day together and we are ready for Turkey day tomorrow.

TOMS

I love TOMS!  I know they are not the best looking shoes but they are comfortable and I really like wearing them.

Well, about six months ago, I ordered a pair of TOMS for Will from their website.  When I got them they were too small so I returned them.  I explained to them that they were just the wrong size and I just never got around to reordering him a bigger size.  Well, I got an email from the company this week apologizing that my order did not work out so they sent me a coupon for $50!  That's a free pair of TOMS!  What wonderful customer service!  Now, I know I should have spent that money on Will but I ordered myself a new pair instead.  Is that terrible of me?

I ordered the new grey and polka dot pair.  How cute are these?

Merry early Christmas to me!!!
