KEYS

My baby boy loves keys!  Not toy keys or pretend keys BUT only real keys!  He knows the difference and will beg to hold daddy's keys.

Oh the magic of keys!  

We just have to really watch him because we can't lose the keys.  Thankfully, Will is really good about remembering where he puts them, if he ever puts them down!

Poor Roxy

We say that a lot these days...poor Roxy!  Will loves Roxy and sometimes he loves her a little bit too much.  Roxy is tormented constantly by Will and she takes it so well.  She never snaps at him but sometimes she will growl at him which means she has had enough.  Roxy is Will's buddy and poor Roxy has a new best friend even if she didn't want one!  

I feel like such a lazy blogger these days.  Once a week is about all I am getting done and I don't know why.  I guess I am going through a blogging funk....oh well, I will try to do better.

Bryan and I are trying a new diet tomorrow and I was just thinking that if I blog about it maybe I will stick with it.  The blog will hold me accountable and I can report back to everyone how it is working out.  Spring and Summer is right around the corner and we need to lose a few pounds!

Girls Weekend

This weekend I got away with three wonderful girls!  We headed to the mountains Friday night and came home today around lunch time.  We talked, shopped, laughed and ate way too much food! 

Saturday afternoon, we stopped at the best coffee/book shop ever!  We found the perfect table and we sat for a while, drank coffee, and just talked.  

Saturday night, we ate a very late 9:15 dinner at a tapas restaurant.  We sampled and tried so many dishes.  The waiter even brought us a surprise dish to try!  Everything was great and we didn't even leave until midnight!  

I love hanging with my girls but I love coming home to this sweet boy!

First Snow!

Will got to play in the snow yesterday for the first time.  Around mid-afternoon it started snowing lightly and then picked up pretty good.  After just a few hours, we had about 2-3 inches.  Will loved it! He played with the neighborhood kids and had a blast!

Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day has never been a really big deal in our family.  We never have big plans to go anywhere or do anything out of the ordinary which is totally fine with me.  

But I did get a very beautiful surprise today at work.  Bryan sent me roses and tonight he brought home Chinese for dinner.  He even called in the order all by himself and picked it up!

Of course, Will got a ton of fun things for Valentine's day.  He got a new chair from Nana & Papa, a bag of goodies from us, and a hilarious laughing puppy dog from Bebe & Poppy.  Plus a ton of candy and snacks!

This dog is hilarious!  They said they found it at the Cracker Barrel store.  

Nana & Will made this special Valentine today for Bryan and me.

Museum

My mom and dad took Will to the museum this afternoon.  Mom said he loved all the animals and wanted to ride them!  But he didn't like the big dinosaur or the mammoth.  After the museum, they stopped for ice cream.  

Beautiful Day!

We had a beautiful Saturday around the house!  We had no plans, the weather was awesome, and we spent the day together doing nothing.  It was great!
