Thursdays Thoughts

My thoughts today are very simple...I love my ordinary, scheduled, some would say boring life.  Every day is a routine and just about the same.  Nothing is fancy and its absolutely perfect!  We get up early, work hard all day, eat dinner together as a family, and that's it.

This is my kind of perfect!  Sure we have things we have to deal with and everyday is not peaches n cream, we can get on each other's nerves too but in the end we are family.  We stick together.

I just love my ordinary life!

Now for fun pics of Will.

My boy loves pizza...

and mama's scarf!

Just counting my blessings today!

Anniversary Weekend

Friday was our 10th wedding anniversary so we went away for the weekend to the mountains ALONE.  We spent the weekend sleeping late, eating lots of food,  shopping, and of course talking about Will.  We went to the mountains and stayed in a cabin which was perfect.  The cabin was only for two people and it was like a treehouse inside.  There was actually a real tree that ran through the middle of the house.  The kitchen was downstairs and the bedroom and bathroom were upstairs.  There was also a hot tub on the deck.  We had a wonderful time!

Will came home with some really cool shoes!  Bryan picked out these boots...

and I picked out these super cute moccasins!

Every year on our anniversary we receive a letter from the pastor that married us.  It is so special to Bryan and I that he still remembers us all these years later.  At the time, he was the pastor at our church but he has since then left our church and moved to a different church.  But he still remembers us every single year.  This is what we got this year.  What a wonderful man!!!

How great is that?  It makes Bryan and I stop for just a second and remember that special day that he married us.  It was a wonderful day and Bryan and I are so lucky to have each other.  We love our marriage and where our lives are right now.  He is my best friend and such a wonderful father to Will. I can't wait to see what our future holds together!

Friday before we left town, my dad came over to show Will his deer and coyote that he killed that morning.  Will was not the least bit afraid and tried to pet them.  My dad can't wait till Will is old enough to go hunting with him!

Both grandparents kept Will this weekend so that Bryan and I could go away so we owe them a huge
THANKS!  WE LOVE YOU!

Praying for a Blogger

I do not personally know Julee and her family but I have been following her blog for a while now.  She lost her husband Matt this weekend in a tragic car crash.  They have a beautiful little girl Preslee who is 10 months old and this loss has been on my mind.  I hate that someone has to go through such pain.   After following certain blogs for so long, you feel like you know them.  I read about their struggles to become pregnant and then their joy of having a beautiful baby girl.  Her husband Matt was a news anchor in their town.

This family has been in my prayers and I hope that you would keep them in yours.

We really need to hold on to the people that we love and appreciate them every single day!

Will, Daddy, & Football

We had a lazy Sunday after church today.  We laid around the house, watched some Panthers football, and laughed at Will.  He is so funny these days!  Bryan cooked chile beans in the crock pot and they were perfect on this gloomy, chilly day.

Apple

This afternoon, I was eating an apple.  I kept letting Will bite the apple and he loved it!  When I was finished I just let him have it.  He walked around with it just bitting and sucking the juice from it.  Of course I got some cute pics!

Sweet baby boy!

Fair

We took Will to the county fair this afternoon.  It was sooooooo crowded!  Too crowded for me but we did get to see the animals and ride some rides.   Will rode the train which he liked but we also rode the Merry go round and he wasn't too sure about it.  Every time we passed Bryan he would cry for him.  All the grandparents came with us which was nice because we had lots of hands to help with Will.  Will was really good despite the crowds and we had fun!
