Gingerbread Fun!

Sunday afternoon, Ashley & Aiden came over to celebrate Christmas with us.  The boys played and we opened presents.

We also attempted to make gingerbread houses.  Ashley and I pretty much built them but the boys did help us decorate the houses.  They really did a good job considering there was candy and icing right in front of them!

You probably noticed that big bump and cut on Will's head.  Well, he fell Sunday morning and hit the corner of a door practically on the way out the door to church.  He was fine but it scared us to death!  It was a major goose egg!!!

Family Christmas Dinner

Wednesday night we met all of Bryan's family out for a Christmas dinner.  They decided this year to meet at a local restaurant so no one would have to cook, clean, or stress about preparing anything.
I loved it!
Everyone had a wonderful meal, the kids played, and the adults loved visiting with each other.

Jonah and Will have become buddies and they get to play together about once a week.
Aren't they precious?

Christmas Art

Nana and Will paint all the time!  She has told me that he absolutely loves it and is very patient when he paints.  He doesn't make a big mess and is very careful.  I personally have not attempted to paint with Will but thank goodness Nana is a brave person and does it all the time with him.

My First Guest Post!

Check out my first ever guest post on the blog On Loan From Heaven.

Lindsey wanted to spotlight different adoption stories honoring National Adoption Month and I told her I would love to participate!  Lindsey and I both adopted through the same agency and have followed each others blogs for a while now.  Everyone knows that I love to share our story and it's pretty cool to be highlighted on a different blog.

I love being part of a wonderful adoption family!

Will loves sales papers...

especially hunting ones likes Cabelas and Bass Pro Shop.  He points out the boots, deer, and four wheelers!
