Saturday Doctor Visit

Today we took Will to the doctor for our first emergency (we think our baby is sick but not really sure) visit.  Yesterday when Bryan picked Will up from daycare, they told us that he had had diarrhea all day.  Then he did again last night at home and began to pull on his right ear.  This morning he didn't eat much and continued to have diarrhea and mess with his ear so around lunchtime I think it's time to call the doctor.  Thank goodness they got us right in around 1:45.  When we got there they weighed Will and he now weighs 13 lbs!  They took his temperature and he doesn't have a fever. Our regular doctor was on call which we were really excited about.  The doctor checked him out and looked into his ears.  He couldn't get a good look because they were so full of wax.  He began to clean the wax out of Will's ears and he did not like this one bit!!!  He cried the whole time.  Once they were good and clean, the doctor said his ears looked fine.  He just thinks he has some kind of stomach virus.  He did not put him on any medicine and told us of some symptoms to watch out for if the virus was getting worse. So we were relieved but now we are just ready for him to get better.  Every time he eats, he fills his diaper.  Thank goodness his mood is fine and he's not cranky.  Hopefully his little stomach will be back to normal very soon!
