Well, I officially totally skipped over Will turning 17 months old. In my defense, it was October 13 and that was the weekend Bryan and I went to the mountains. We talked about it that day but when I got home I forgot to document it on the blog.
Anyway, Will is now 17 months old! Right now he totally repeats everything you say (which means you have to be very careful with what you say in front of him) and he is constantly chatting about something. He is wearing 9-12 month pants, 12 month shirts, and size 4 shoes. His diapers are still size 3. His size is really not changing much right now. He eats very well and still sleeps good at night. He is in the bath tub at 7:00 pm and asleep by 7:30 pm. During the week, we have to wake him up at 6:30 to go to Nana's house but on the weekends he will sleep till 7:30 am. This mama is not complaining!
My pics aren't that great this time around because he is constantly messing with the sticker and it is not easy to get a good photo!
Around the house, he still loves to read books, play with puzzles, and vacuum with his pretend vacuum. I can't wait till he's old enough to vacuum for real! His personality is still so sweet and loving. He has starting telling us when he has pee peed or poo pooed which is really nice except for the fact that he will grab himself! But it's ok, I think he's a pretty smart little boy to already be telling us that.
At church today, he didn't even cry or acknowledge me leaving when I dropped him off at the nursery. I sat him down, he walked right in and started playing. My little boy is growing up way too fast! He always does well playing with other kids. Nana takes him to story hour at the local library and he loves it! He is pretty social because he will talk to just about anybody and will let anybody hold him. Right now he loves to stomp around like an elephant. He is very entertaining!
Before I go, I wanted to share something very simple that our preacher reminded us of this morning in worship service.
Remember: God is not deaf, God is not blind, and God is not dumb! He is always watching us, he always knows what we are thinking and doing. If we remember this simple rule, we can lead a Godly life. We should always put God first!
