First Consignment Sale!

Friday night, my friend Ashley and I went to a children's consignment sale at one of the local churches.  I have never been to one before and I was surprised at how popular it was.  When we got there, there were people lined up outside waiting to get in.  Lucky for us, Ashley had two early admission passes so we got to shop for about 20 minutes before the crowd rushed in.  I have to admit that I LOVED IT!  I got Will some nice summer clothes, a pair of brand new tennis shoes, and some new toys.  Next weekend there is another one and I can't wait!

I thought I did pretty good because I know this riding horse toy would cost that if not more brand new.  The toys were in really good shape and the clothes look practically brand new.  Can't wait for next weekend!

Thankful Thursday

I have been thinking lately about how lucky Bryan and I are to have both of our mom's retired and available to keep Will for us.  

So today I am thankful for Bebe & Nana!  

They have a schedule worked out where they are taking turns keeping Will for us while Bryan and I are at work.  Nana keeps Will on Mondays and Wednesdays and Bebe keeps him on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  They split Fridays so they just have him half a day.  

They are both really awesome about keeping Will for the occasional party, date nights, or emergencies.  Example:  Bryan called Monday around 4:15 and said he locked his keys in his car at work which is about an hour from home.  Instead of loading up Will (who doesn't really like to ride in the car),  Nana stayed with him at our house while I ran over to unlock Bryan's car.  Sometimes I wonder how people do it without family around them to help.

I love the fact that Will is going to grow up having a ton of family around him who love him so much!  We are so lucky!

Ready to go outside

Will is ready for the weather to warm-up so he can ride his new push car.  Right now we are just cruising around the house.  I believe it's going to warm up towards the end of the week so maybe he can try it out this weekend.

Happy Birthday Ashley

Today we celebrated my sweet friend Ashley's birthday.  We had a girl's day that included sushi for lunch, shopping, laughing, and a little pampering!

All of us ladies work together and we have a great time at work and outside of work.  It was great to get together today and have some fun celebrating Ashley's birthday!

WILL'S BIRTH CERTIFICATE!!

Bryan and I are so excited to finally have in our hands an official birth certificate for Will.  We knew that he was officially ours but having our names on his birth certificate is very special.  We sent in the paperwork in December and paid some extra money to have it expedited as soon as it was finished.  So here it is, March 2 which I guess is not a terrible turn-around but it did seem like it took forever! Oh well, we have it now and that is all that matters.
