Watermelon

After dinner tonight, Bryan cut us up a big watermelon out on the patio!  It was Will's first time and we just let him dive right in.  So cute!!!

Off to a great start!

Our Memorial Day weekend had a great start today.  We got up this morning, ran some errands, and ate lunch at Chick-fil-A.  This afternoon, we went over to our neighbors house and they have a pool.  They invited us over for a swim and it was Will's first time in a pool.  Of course, he did great and loved it!  He didn't whine or cry to get out.  He just hung out, splashed a little bit, and enjoyed floating around!

Tonight, Bryan grilled us a steak and Will and I hung outside on the patio.  I took a few photos of my absolutely adorable little boy!

I am loving our lazy, long weekend at home!

Sandbox fun!

I took these pictures last weekend but I am just now getting around to sharing.  Will got his sandbox for his birthday last weekend and he likes it!

Will is feeling much better today, thank goodness.  I think the medicine is kicking in and his eyes look so much better.

One year doctor visit

Friday Will had an appointment for his one year checkup which worked out perfectly because he was sick anyway.  As soon as the doctor saw him, he said,"Ohhhh, he was pink eye and I bet he has an ear infection."  Sure enough, he looked into his right ear and he did had an infection.  The doctor did not give him some immunizations because he was sick but they did take some blood and gave him two immunizations.  He prescribed him some eye drops for the pink eye and an antibiotic for the ear infection. It really was perfect timing!

His one year old stats:
20 lbs
30 inches long
25 percentile

Doctor was very pleased with his growth and happy with his development like walking (or cruising as he called it), no formula, no bottles, eating a variety of table foods, and saying a few words like dada and mama.  I am really happy with our doctor and how good he is with Will.

My sick baby

Today we stayed in all day and I have to say that this is the worst I have ever seen Will.  He is pretty much miserable.  His eyes are puffy and matted, his nose is running, his ear hurts, and he has a terrible cough.  To top it off, the antibiotic is giving him terrible diarrhea.  It breaks my heart to see him suffering. Hopefully tomorrow will be a little better!

Last but not least...Birthday Pics Part 3

The beautiful quilt my mom made Will.

Bryan opening Will's lifetime hunting and fishing license from my dad.

Nap time after party, he was ready!

That's all folks!  I tried to pick the best of the 512 photos!  The party was so much fun and I am so pleased with how things turned out.

On a different note, Will has pink eye and an ear infection.  He started an antibiotic and eye drops tonight so hopefully tomorrow he will start getting better.  Keep him in your prayers because he feels terrible.
