One year doctor visit

Friday Will had an appointment for his one year checkup which worked out perfectly because he was sick anyway.  As soon as the doctor saw him, he said,"Ohhhh, he was pink eye and I bet he has an ear infection."  Sure enough, he looked into his right ear and he did had an infection.  The doctor did not give him some immunizations because he was sick but they did take some blood and gave him two immunizations.  He prescribed him some eye drops for the pink eye and an antibiotic for the ear infection. It really was perfect timing!

His one year old stats:
20 lbs
30 inches long
25 percentile

Doctor was very pleased with his growth and happy with his development like walking (or cruising as he called it), no formula, no bottles, eating a variety of table foods, and saying a few words like dada and mama.  I am really happy with our doctor and how good he is with Will.

My sick baby

Today we stayed in all day and I have to say that this is the worst I have ever seen Will.  He is pretty much miserable.  His eyes are puffy and matted, his nose is running, his ear hurts, and he has a terrible cough.  To top it off, the antibiotic is giving him terrible diarrhea.  It breaks my heart to see him suffering. Hopefully tomorrow will be a little better!
